A 36-year-old woman has spent more than £150,000 on tattoos and futuristic body implants to create what she calls her “human cyborg” look — and she says she has no plans to stop anytime soon.

Lina Lorenzen, a tattoo artist from San Francisco, has covered nearly every inch of her body with over 200 tattoos and undergone multiple subdermal implants.

Her goal? To create a striking, biomechanical-inspired aesthetic that blends the organic with the futuristic.

While Lina takes pride in her transformation, she admits her appearance often draws judgment.

She says many adults “exclude” her socially, while children can’t help but stare.

“Children are naturally curious,” she said. “I try to respond with a friendly smile or wave, hoping to normalize my appearance and foster acceptance.”

Her passion for tattoos is deeply personal: “Every time I get a new one, it’s like adding another layer to my story.”

Despite being single, Lina doesn’t believe her heavily modified appearance affects her love life. “My relationship status is independent of my appearance.

True connections are formed on a deeper level than superficial judgments.”

Her ink is largely inspired by surrealism and biomechanical art, which merges elements of machines with the human form.

For Lina, even implants are part of that vision: “The decision to modify my body was driven by a desire to push boundaries and express my individuality.”

And she’s not finished yet — Lina already has more sessions booked to continue her transformation.
