The constant transition between roles and characters has inadvertently meant various Robert Pattinson Hair moments.

His appearance in Twilight differs from his appearance in Batman which is again different to his look outside of filming.

Some of his looks include his,

  • Buzz Cut
  • Side Quiff
  • Permed Hair
  • Spikey Hair
  • Messy Hair
  • Slicked Back
  • Undercut Hair

Throughout his career Robert has made it a point to fully embody the character at hand which has meant both a physical and mental transition!

Today we’ll look at some of the best hairstyles he’s worn as a consequence of his physical transformations.

Here are the Best Robert Pattinson Hair Moments

Buzz Cut

Not only do we see his buzz cut relatively low but we often see a small patch of blonde towards the front for effect.

buzz cut

The buzz cut is mostly known as a conservative haircut which is why the blonde patch makes it stand out more, its conservative meets creative!

We also see supporters speculate as to whether its for a new role as any drastic haircut would have you believe that.

Roberts mostly recognised for his quiffs and messy hair plus we tend to see more buzz cuts in environments which have strict grooming practices.

So, whilst it may just be a hairstyle it doesn’t stop people from wondering if a movie will be shortly following.

Side Quiff

The modern quiff has many variations with the side quiff being one of them that we see Robert using on red carpet events constantly.

Taking a closer look were able to see hair is combed to one side whilst a subtle side parting is created as a result.

Essentially the side quiff is a 3 in one hairstyle, it’s a combover, has elements of the old school pompadour with a faux hawk and the optional fade.

With the side quiff your able to grow your hair out then decide another style to morph into or simply keep it as such.

Permed Hair

In preparation for his role in the movie Good Time we saw Robert get a perm to change the appearance and texture of his hair.

Robert Pattinson Hair permed

Permed hair is a chemical procedure that allows more straight and wavier hair to become curly as you can see from the above image.

Despite the term “perm” it is not permanent but will last a very long time and whilst it was more of a common practice amongst women we see men deciding to perm their hair.

With little to no traces of him styling his hair this way out of choice we can all agree this was in support of the movie and nothing else.

Spikey Hair

Spikey hair or as we like to call it “organised mess” is one of the quickest ways to change your hairstyles with minimal effort.

Spikey Hair

Invest in a high-quality wax and then push your hair forward to create more volume upfront, then apply some lightweight mist to your hair with strong-hold to keep it in place.

The modern spikes we see on Robert are more conservative in comparison to the liberty spikes which are big, bright and colourful.

Messy Hair

One of the most consistent hairstyles from the actor is his messy hair look which we would regard his signature look.

A good quality wax or pomade and slightly massaged hair to give it the textured finished is what Robert is doing to achieve this look.

Industry dinners, award shows or events were more likely than not to seeing his signature messy hair.

Even in comparison to Andrew Garfield’s Hair in a quiff we can see the level of effort made to ensure his messy hair looks flowy and textured.

More importantly it’s the hairstyle wore in his breakout role in Twilight as Edward Cullen. Volumized and textured thus giving his character more depth.

Slicked Back

The beauty of the side quiff is we can go from casual to elegant in a matter of minutes. Compare his side quiff image above to the slicked back below.

We can see the side part and hair combed over and with nothing but damp hair, some gel and a comb, BOOM!

The slicked back hair works for individuals with both shorter and longer hair, it provides a retro and contemporary look and can be achieved in minutes.

Undercut Haircut

One of the most distinctive statement haircuts we’ve seen from Robert to date with a random box at the back of his head, the undercut haircut.

In moment was planned and the reactions from the world were expected as preconceived ideas have been formed already about him.

These ideas are the things you expect i.e., the quiff and messy hair are his signature looks, that is until he steps out with an undercut, something were not used too.

This look was revealed back in 2014 7th Annual Go Go Gala at Montage Beverly Hills. Will we see the look again? Were not sure, all we can say is expect the unexpected.

Batman Haircut

In preparation for his role as Bruce Wayne in Bateman we saw Pattison undergo a training intense programme as well as hair transition.

During the time of filming the movie we see Robert Pattinson Hair is dyed to a darker brunette for the role which is later shaved off when the movie completed.

Long side fringe and a side part was the look and this was as Bruce Wayne.

Disclaimer: Applying any sort of chemical to your hair is a very risky job as this can lead to breakage or thinning if not done correctly, therefore we always recommend you use a professional.
