If you are stuck at a cluttered home desk or staring out from a high-rise office window, dreaming of a beach and a cocktail, this might interest you.

A TikToker found a surprising cost-saving trick that could turn those wishes into reality.

TikToker Josh Kerr discovered that booking ’28 nights’ at an all-inclusive resort produced a monthly price similar to his usual rent.

Scrolling for an all-inclusive deal, Josh noticed the site let him choose a ’28 nights’ timeframe.

He was shocked to find the monthly price matched — and in his case beat — his normal bills.

He found a five-star, all-inclusive hotel in Antalya, Turkey, priced at £938 (about $1,175) for 28 nights.

Josh worked out his usual monthly outgoings — rent, council tax and other regular bills — and they totalled £951.

“So that’s not even including food or drink or anything,” he said on an episode of Holidays: Get Away For Less on ITV1.

Josh flew to Turkey as part of a collaboration with On the Beach.

He stayed at the Port River Hotel and Spa in Antalya, enjoying meals, drinks, a pool and gym.

The resort sits only 300 metres from a “stunning beach” and is close to an old city with attractive ruins, he says in a TikTok video.

Social media quickly reacted to Josh’s discovery.

One X user wrote: “There’s a guy that has moved into an all inclusive 5* resort in Turkey because it works out cheaper per month than his rent and bills in Manchester which doesn’t even include food… He’s found the ultimate cheat code to the cozzy livs.”

Another commented: “When I get a 100 percent remote role I’ll be doing the same thing.”

Others added: “That’s bonkers.” “Genius.” “Legend.”

Josh’s example highlighted how an all-inclusive month abroad can sometimes cost less than staying home and paying rent and bills.
