Controversy continues to follow Tay “Lil Tay” Tian, who recently prompted fresh debate after launching an OnlyFans account.
The 18-year-old rose to fame with viral clips, a rap push, and claims she was the “youngest flexer of the century.”
She briefly disappeared from the spotlight and was at the center of a 2023 death hoax.

Tian, born Claire Eileen Qi Hope, returned after the hoax with a single called “Sucker 4 Green”.
Her public image has proven hard to verify, with reports saying she often lacked control over how she was presented.
She has called the late rapper XXXTentacion a father figure, while her biological father attracted equal attention.
After Lil Tay announced she made $1 million in three hours on OnlyFans, her father addressed the situation.
Just days after she launched an OnlyFans to mark her 18th birthday, Chris Hope spoke out.
Speaking to TMZ, Hope said he will not be watching her OnlyFans account.
He added he is unaware of any NSFW material on her page and said he won’t be monitoring it.
“She is now an adult and can make her own decisions,” Hope said. “I am sure she is going to be successful in whatever she decides to do.”
Hope acknowledged that “some people won’t approve no matter what she does.”
He said he will not judge her and that he loves his daughter.
Early coverage suggested family strife. Reports claimed her older brother once managed her account.
Her father also faced criticism over claims he wanted to trademark the Lil Tay name and establish a trust for her earnings.
Tian’s main Instagram account posted unverified abuse allegations against her father.
After that, a separate account shared personal information, such as his workplace.

In 2021, multiple posts alleged Hope had a court order to return his daughter to Vancouver and tried to profit from her fame.
Her brother even launched a GoFundMe amid those accusations.
Following the death hoax, Lil Tay began using her mother’s surname, Tian.
That shift coincided with renewed accusations against her father, including claims he staged the hoax.
“Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account,” Hope told TMZ.
Meanwhile, Tian appears to be asserting her independence.
When she revealed her OnlyFans, Lil Tay posted: “Nobody, including my family, including the grown-ass haters is gonna stop me. You know why? Lil Tay rich and finna get richer, b*tch.”
