A balding man, frustrated with his receding hairline, believes the solution to his problem is to get a fringe tattooed onto his forehead.

The result was so shocking people still think its a joke 😧

Gianluca’s Unusual Solution

Gianluca, a 26-year-old from Italy, sought a more permanent fix for his thinning hairline. Disheartened by his receding hair, he decided to get a fringe tattooed on his forehead.

This unusual request brought a mix of amusement and skepticism from his tattoo artist, Maria Gina Altobelli, who owns Gipsy.g Tattoo & Piercing in Fondi.

The Tattooing Process

Maria, 30, recorded the entire process of ‘tattooing’ Gianluca’s head. The video shows her using a stencil to design a black fringe on Gianluca’s forehead.

“I was skeptical when he asked for that tattoo, but in the end, I’m very happy with the work,” Maria said.

After completing the tattoo, Gianluca looks in the mirror and cries, though it’s unclear if his tears are of joy or regret.

Tears of Joy or regret?

Despite her initial doubts, Maria was pleased with her work, which took about an hour to complete due to her six years of tattooing experience.

Social Media Reactions

The video quickly went viral on TikTok, leaving many social media viewers in hysterics. The unusual solution sparked disbelief and amusement, with many comments.

“I hope this is a joke!” and “The instant regret when he looked in the mirror.” Others speculated that Gianluca might soon be searching for laser tattoo removal 😂

The Truth Revealed

As it turns out, the sceptics were right. Gianluca’s tattoo wasn’t permanent. In a follow-up video, Maria revealed the truth: “A few days ago I posted this video. Given the large number of views, I want to show you how his bangs healed.”

Gianluca appeared in the video with fake hair stuck to his forehead, making the tattoo look real.

“Wow, it healed so well that it actually looks real,” he joked. Many viewers were relieved that the tattooed fringe wasn’t permanent, with comments like, “Oh thank god” and “Ahaha you got us.”

This light-hearted prank highlighted the lengths some might go to address hair loss, and the incredible reactions it can provoke.
